Kenna JohnsonKenna Johnson holds dual roles here at UNC. She is the director of the Stryker Institute for Leadership Development and the coordinator of the Women's Resource Center. Kenna holds a B.S. in Secondary Education as well as  a M.S. in Education from Northwest Missouri State University. Before coming to UNC Kenna spent 16 years with the Federal TRiO Programs at Northwest Missouri State University; serving as an Upward Bound Director for 9 years and an Assistant Director of Student Support Services for 7 years. Kenna is very passionate about assisting and empowering students in overcoming obstacles and barriers they may face in achieving their college educations.

Laura VillaLaura comes to us as a UNC and Stryker Alumna who formerly worked for Colorado State University in Advancement and Strategic Initiatives. Laura obtained her BA in Criminal Justice from UNC in the Spring of 2006, and hopes to pursue her Master’s in Community or Family Counseling.

Yvette Lucero

Yvette LuceroYvette Lucero is a graduate assistant with the Women’s Resource Center. She comes to us from the "Alien Capital of the World", Roswell, New Mexico. She attended Eastern New Mexico University where she obtained her BS in biology and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health.

Ashley Hartmann

Ashley HArtmannAshley is currently a residence hall director, and is serving the Women's Resource Center as part of a collateral assignment designed to provide experience in an area of student affairs outside of Housing & Residence Life.  She is a co-advisor for United Sisters, is helping to plan programs with the WRC, and is also working on a resource manual for the center.  The opportunity to work with both Housing & Residence Life and the Women's Resource Center provides new and exciting ways to involve students in both areas simultaneously.  Ashley graduated with her M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and her B.A. from the University of Missouri - Columbia.  Her passions include social justice, feminism, college student development, working with college students, and riding her motorcycle.
