Welcome to the Women’s Resource Center!
The Women’s Resource Center provides programs, discussions, and materials about women’s issues, initiatives and development. The Center promotes leadership, celebrates the achievements of women, and raises awareness on the status of women.
Additionally, the WRC serves as a meeting place for study groups, committee meetings, and individual study space. The Women’s Resource Center library contains over 1,100 books covering a range of women’s topics.
We invite you to participate in the exciting and diverse programs that we offer.

Congratulations! You are truly an asset to the UNC Community!
This year's Women's Recognition Reception was a great success thanks to all who attended , and those who took the time to nominate the outstanding women here at UNC. Our recipient's for the Inspiring Women's awards for 2008 go to Dr. Keiko Krahnke, Faculty, Julie Trujillo, Staff, and Susan Rae, Student. Congratulations to all of you--you have truly made a difference in all of our lives!
Summer At the WRC!
We are looking forward to the upcoming Summer semester here at the WRC--we will be skeleton staffed during June and July as Kenna is off contract, Laura is in for regular hours, and Yvette will be working part-time helping the Stryker GA's plan for the Fall. We are grateful to all of you for making this year's events such a sweeeet success! Thanks so much to our great Student Assistants, Monica and Jenn, without which we might not get anything accomplished, they are so efficient! If you are staying on campus this Summer, stop in and say hello, or if you're not, then have a great Summer break! See you in the Fall!
