Center for Peer Education

CPE is dedicated to promoting healthy college lifestyles and is a student-fee-funded service of the Student Representative Council.

CPE is staffed by student volunteers and is always looking for additions to its team. As volunteers, students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of health- and safety-minded activities, such as:

Peer Education: Students receive training and become nationally certified peer educators.

BACCHUS Bar: Certified BACCHUS volunteers serve non-alcoholic "mocktails" at any event.

Educational Programs: unique programs created by CPE students are taken into the residence halls each semester.

Awareness Weeks: CPE sponsors awareness weeks each semester whose goal is to raise awareness of health topics, such as Alcohol Awareness Week and Tobacco Awareness Week.
