Continuation Plan Information
Graduating and need to keep your student health insurance until you get a job? You may sign up for a continuation plan, which will continue your coverage with the student health insurance plan for an additional period after graduation. The premium must be paid in advance, is non-refundable, and the plan cannot be extended beyond the initial 12 months (if the coverage is purchased at the end of Spring Semester coverage). .
Rates for the conversion plan for 12 months can be obtained by contacting Academic HealthPlans, our managing underwriter, at 888-308-7320.
NOTE: To obtain the continuation plan for dependents, the student must also be signed up for the continuation plan.
If you are interested in signing up for the continuation plan, contact Academic HealthPlans BEFORE your current coverage expires. You must submit your application and pay the premium before your current coverage ends in order to get the continuation plan.
Students need to pay the applicable premium for the continuation plan at the time of their enrollment. No refunds will be made once the enrollment is complete.
