Deans' Evaluation
The Deans will undergo a comprehensive evaluation every three years, including soliciting evaluative input from faculty, school directors, classified staff and other administrators using the Questionnaire. They will also be reviewed annually through the process outlined below.
Each year the dean’s evaluation dossier will document accomplishments, include a self-assessment and outline a performance plan for the following year.
During the late spring, the Provost will meet individually with each dean to review the materials and provide feedback.
February: Provost’s Office distributes evaluation questionnaires for tri-annual evaluation to appropriate faculty, staff and administrators.
February: Questionnaires returned to the Provost’s Office.
March: Questionnaires machine-scored by Information Technology and results returned to the Provost’s Office.
April: Deans submit dossier to Provost’s Office; dossier includes documentation on accomplishments, a self-assessment and performance plan/goals for the next year.
May: Deans meet individually with Provost to review dossiers and complete the evaluation process. Dean and Provost agree on performance plan for next year.
