Colleges provide schools, Human Resources and the Provost with their list of faculty eligible for promotion and tenure. Eligibility will be confirmed by Human Resources to Academic Affairs and Deans by 10/8/08.

November

Director notifies eligible faculty.

1. Eligible faculty submits documentation to director.
2. Tenured department faculty recommendation to director.
3. Director's recommendation to Dean.

March 16, 2009

Promotion and tenure recommendations and comprehensive evaluations and letters from dean and director to Provost. Review of faculty dossiers by Provost and the Provost's staff. Dossier materials will be kept in the colleges but be accessible in the Deans Office for review by Office of the Provost staff and the Provost.

April, 2009

Completed material (final summary, as approved by President and Provost for presentation to BOT).

May 8, 2009

Promotion and tenure recommendations to BOT.
