Questions to Consider in Your Discussion
• How do recent planning efforts (particularly academic planning) sharpen the focus of areas for investment identified in Charting the Future?
• How can we invest in areas where we have viable potential to become a state, national or international leader and for which there is significant demand or need?
• How do we recapture and celebrate our central and historic mission?
• How do the priorities your workgroup identifies affect academic programs? Faculty and staff? Students? Facilities?
• How urgent are the priorities your workgroup identifies?

University Mission Statement
The University of Northern Colorado shall be a comprehensive baccalaureate and specialized graduate research university with selective admission standards. The University shall offer a comprehensive array of baccalaureate programs and master’s and doctoral degrees primarily in the field of education. The University of Northern Colorado has statewide authority to offer graduate programs for the preparation of educational personnel.
