Course Objectives

In this course we will study some of the main problems of ethics (that is, moral philosophy) through the study of some of the major works of some of the major figures in the history of Western moral philosophy.

Course Requirements

Class participation, a midterm paper and a final paper. Each will count for one third of the final grade.
