- Research interests include: nuclear physics; behavior, structure and applications of thin films; self-organization in vibrated particle assemblies; physics education. Experience includes a postdoctoral appointment in semiconductor technology at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Lab and two years as a process engineer with NCR Microelectronics. She has been at UNC since 1989.
