UNC Today and UNC calendar submission information

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit UNC news items and events for the daily electronic campus newsletter and the online UNC calendar.

All events — including concerts, speakers, performances, workshops, meetings, celebrations, athletic events and festivals — should be entered directly into the UNC calendar by logging onto http://www.unco.edu/calendar/calendar.asp. Click on the “add an event” button at the bottom of the page. The event should appear on the calendar within 24 hours from the time you enter it.

We will take events from the calendar and put them in UNC Today. Each Friday, we will preview events in the coming week, and each day, there will be a reminder about that day’s events.

Items other than events, such as announcements about job openings and policy changes or information about new publications, should still be e-mailed to unc.today@unco.edu. We will run the items twice when possible.

We do not publish commercial advertisements or information about events that are not primarily affiliated with UNC.
