Downloading the Software:

Visit http://domain-vpn.unco.edu/UNCVPNWin50340MSI.exe

A username and password is required to access this site. Enter your domain login in the format username@unco.edu.

After authentication, you will be prompted  to save or open the file.   You will need to Save the file to your desktop.

Installing the Software:

The Installer file will be saved to your desktop.  Double click the icon.

You will see several prompts as the software extracts and installs.

Once the InstallShield Wizard completes, you will be prompted to restart your computer.

Once the computer has rebooted, you will be prompted to enter your authentication information, user name for the network (i.e. john.doe) and password.

Using VPN:

Click Start, Programs, select the UNC VPN Client program group, and then select UNC VPN Client.

From the Connection Entry screen, click on the Connect icon.

Enter your username and password, then click OK.

You will know you are connected to the UNC VPN when you see the VPN icon minimized.jpg (1090 bytes) on  your taskbar.

To disconnect from the UNC VPN, right click the VPN icon minimized.jpg (1090 bytes) in the taskbar and select Exit VPN Client.
