Welcome to the new Human Resource Services website!  

 In redesigning the website, we had 3 goals in mind:

  1. Clarify who we are and what we do.
  2. Expand information on the services we provide.
  3. Make the website easier to use and information easier to find.

First - What’s in a Name? Instead of Human Resources, we are now Human Resource Services. Why the change?  We wanted our name to more accurately reflect our role here on campus.  Not only does our staff perform a variety of functions, we provide a variety of services to assist our staff and faculty.  We have listed many of the functions, programs, and services we provide to the campus community.  Our goal is to be a Resource, not just a department. 

Second – Service, Service, Service!  Just as location is crucial to real estate, service is crucial to us.  We are looking at ways to better serve the campus community.  You will see a link to our HRS Customer Service Survey. Please take the time to respond and give us your input.  Also, look for new updates and topics of interest in the coming months!

Third - User-friendly.  You will notice different HRS Resource links designed to provide easier access to information you need.  Within the links will be brief descriptions or other specific links that give further detail to the information you are seeking.  We will link to other departments that may be of interest to the staff and faculty, especially newer employees.  We added a HRS Forms link that will lists the HRS forms in either alphabetical order or by topic.  Please note that when using this link that there may be additional documents that go with a form or explain its use.  In addition, we are in the process of refining our forms and documents to ensure they are up-to-date and titled consistently. 

1-2-3- Launch:  We are launching new information as we complete it so you have the updated resources as soon as they are available.   We apologize for the “construction mess” and hope to minimize dead links and information gaps.
