Honors and Dean’s List
- Dean’s List: Students are honored for their outstanding academic achievements once a year at the end of the Spring Semester (Summer, Fall, and Spring).
- List of Distinction: Students at the University who have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours and have achieved a 3.75 or above grade point average for any two terms of the year are named to the Dean's List of Academic Distinction and awarded a certificate acknowledging their outstanding scholarship. Students awarded to the UNC's Dean's List of Distinction will be nominated to the National Dean's List publication.
- Honor Roll: Students at the University who have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours and have achieved a 3.50 to 3.74 grade point average for any two terms (Summer, Fall, and Spring) of the year are awarded a certificate acknowledging their outstanding scholarship.
- Robert and Ludie Dickeson Presidential Prize for Leadership: The purpose of this award is to recognize exceptional student leadership on the UNC campus. To be eligible for the award, a student must be considered a leader by his or her peers, faculty, and the administration; must be a graduating senior (or have already graduated in December) and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Two monetary awards, each to a male and female student will be awarded at Spring Commencement.
