- Fall Opening Weekend
Thursday - Sunday, August 21 - 24, 2008- Complimentary refreshments are provided for students and their families at Tobey-Kendel Dining Room & Holmes Dining Hall on Thursday and Friday
- Meal plans become active at dinner on Thursday at Tobey-Kendel Dining Room & Holmes Dining Hall
- Welcome BBQ
Friday, August 22, 2008- NEW Location: Turner Green (lawn area between Turner and Lawrenson Halls on West Campus)
- Time: 4:30pm-6:30pm (all dining rooms are closed at dinner... please join us at the BBQ)
- Students can use their meal plans and guests can join us at the special cash price of $7.00 (tax included)
- Labor Day
Monday, September 1, 2008- Tobey-Kendel Dining Room and Holmes Dining Hall are both open for Brunch and Dinner (instead of breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- UC Food Court and all Gourmet to Go locations are Closed
- Family and Friends Weekend
Saturday - Sunday, September 20 - 21, 2008- Special Brunch available at Tobey-Kendel Dining Room and Holmes Dining Hall (special tickets available through the UC Ticket Office), 11:00am-1:30pm
- Dinner available at Tobey-Kendel Dining Room and Holmes Dining Hall, 4:30pm-7:00pm
- Guest can join us for the special cash price of $7.00 per person (tax included)
- Rosh Hashanah
Tuesday - Wednesday, September 30 - October 1, 200- Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown (dinner) on Monday, 9/29/08
- Rosh Hashanah ends at nightfall (dinner) on Wednesday, 10/1/08
- World Vegetarian Day
Wednesday, October 1, 2008- Vegetarian Items served: lunch and dinner in Tobey-Kendel Dining Room and Holmes Dining Hall, and lunch at the UC Food Court
- Homecoming Kick-Off Dinner
Wednesday, October 8, 2008- Join us for a "Solid Gold" dinner!
