Along with joining us in the dining rooms, you can now purchase food and beverage items at eligible cash operations on campus using your UNC Card through your Faculty/Staff Meal Deduction program. The total amount of your purchases will be deducted from your paycheck monthly, just like your charges from eating in the dining room.

  • Starbucks® Coffee at the University Center
  • Taco Bell Express™ at the University Center
  • Coffee Corner @ Michener (Fall/Spring only)
  • Coffee Corner @ Kepner (Fall/Spring only) **NEW**

Why should you sign up for the Faculty/Staff Meal Deduction program??

  • With the Payroll Deduction program, you don't need to have any cash on-hand!
  • Gourmet to Go sack lunches are available if you’re on the go and can't sit down in the dining room with us!
  • Access our eligible locations with your UNC ID Card!
  • There are 3 convenient dining locations: Tobey-Kendel Dining Room, Holmes Dining Hall, and the UC Food Court
  • **NEW** 2007-2008 cost: $5.00 plus tax = $5.32
  • You can sign up for this program through the Dining Services Office, the UNC Card Office, the dining room checkstands, or download a form here!!
  • We offer UNLIMITED seconds at Holmes Dining Hall and Tobey-Kendel Dining Room... and if you choose to sign up for this plan, that’s where you get the most for your money!
  • You can now use your Faculty/Staff Meal Deduction program at eligible cash operations!! (see above)
