The best part of my job: Working with great people.
The first job I ever had was: Taking care of Chicago weekender homes in the Dunes of Lake Michigan age 13. Raking the beach, watering, landscaping etc.
The strangest job I’ve ever had was: Traveling building Greenhouses.
If I weren’t in food service: I would be doing something outdoors.
My refrigerator always contains: An empty bottle of something.
My favorite meal is: One that is prepared with the help of friends
The best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at was: A small house in the fields of Bordeaux, don't remember the name.
People tell me the celebrity I most resemble is: People have never told me that.
In my spare time, I like to: Backpack, ski, garden, and spend time outside.
People are often most surprised to find out that I: Hiked through the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.
The living person I’d most like to have dinner with is: Paul Bocuse (a French chef, considered one of the finest cooks of the 20th century). I'm sure it would be good.
The person from history I’d most like to meet is: Auguste Escoffier (a French chef, restaurateur and culinary writer who popularized and updated traditional French cooking methods).
My favorite movie is: Babette's Feast
On television I never miss: That's right, I don't miss it.
My car radio is almost always tuned to: 88.9 FM
I would most like to visit: The South Pacific Islands.
