Linguistically Diverse Education: Loveland Cohort
The cohort has been approved, and we have enough commitment letters to start. There are still a few spots left; if you're interested, contact Jon Shaw.
- Added Endorsement in Linguistically Diverse Education, with an option to complete Master of Arts in Teaching: Linguistically Diverse Emphasis degree program.
- The new off-campus cohort will be located at the beautiful UNC at Centerra building at 2915 Rocky Mountain Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538.
- Endorsement program will take 1 year (3 semesters); to complete; Master of Art in Teaching, 2 years (6 semesters).
- All courses are hybrid (half on-line). Face-to-face portions of the classes will be held in Loveland, CO, close to I-25, on Wednesday nights during Fall and Spring semesters, schedule varies in Summer but does not overlap with school year.
- Extended Studies tuition rate is $340 per credit hour; no other fees are required. Financial Aid is available. See especially the Colorado Loan Incentive for Teachers (LIFT) Program.
- Does your investment pay off? Consider the following: in Poudre School District, a teacher with a Masters degree will earn $268,300 more over 30 years than a teacher with a Bachelors degree. In Thompson, the difference is $414,000, in Windsor, $313,000. Investing in your graduate education will bring, on average, 3,000% total return, or 100% annual return over the next 30 years.
- Admission requirements: See checklist. Admission Deadline is November 14.
