CCODE
The Colorado Council of Deans of Education (CCODE) is an association of the deans and directors of schools and colleges of education in Colorado. Some of CCODE’s purposes include: allowing members to stay informed about local and national issues affecting schools of education; developing and providing, when appropriate, individual and collective perspectives on current educational issues; advocating for high quality preparation and induction programs for educators in the state of Colorado; and serving as the state unit for ACCTE’s institutional members.
Rick Ginsberg, Director of the School of Education at Colorado State University, is the present chair of CCODE and Ginger Maloney, Dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Studies at the University of Denver is the co-chair. The group meets four times a year including a meeting at the AACTE Annual Conference. The fall 2004 CCODE meeting will be held September 16 and 17, 2004 at the University of Northern Colorado.
