2007 FLAG FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP
MEN'S A CHAMPIONSHIP: #5 10th St Hooligans 27, #14 Soulja Boys 12
The Men’s A game was dominated by the scrappy 10th St. Hooligans who jumped out to a quick lead using their speed on both sides of the ball. Defensively they made the opposing QB flustered and force passes, and on offense the just move the ball down the field with
ease using short passes and getting plenty of yards after the catch.
MEN'S B CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 The Censored 0, #14 Footballs Deep 6
I am not sure if the defenses were that good in this game, or the offenses just struggled that much. But anyway neither team could score in regulation. There were multiple turnovers in the last two minutes alone. In over time Footballs Deep intercepted the ball on the first play and then scored immediately on the next play to bring home the ship and make it the only game of the day I did not predict right.
COREC CHAMPIONSHIP: #3 Mighty Unicorns 34, #8 Mean Machine 0
The Mighty Unicorns ran through the Mean Machine with ease. The game was never really close, but the Mean Machine did play hard. The one horners came to win, there defense did not give their opponents any space and their offense just moved the ball down the field with ease.
FRATERNITY CHAMPIONSHIPS: #2 Sigma Pi 24, #1 Delta Chi 0
Another shutout on the day in the Fraternity first place game with Sigma Pi dominating Delta Chi. Though I was surprised when Delta Chi ran the ball all the way down the field on the first drive before being stop due to loss of downs, they just stopped running the ball, and Sigma Pi made them pay.
